Choices of Tariff Plans

In general, there are two types of tariff plans. The first type is charged at a monthly standard rate. It means customers have to pay a monthly flat fee for unlimited Internet access. The second type is charged according to usage. For example, if the total monthly Internet access is 10 hrs and the rate per hour is HK$5, then the total monthly charge for that month will be HK$50. Some ISPs may charge customers using a combination of the two. In addition to the basic service charge, dial-up service users (who use telephone lines and narrowband modems to access Internet service) are also required to pay PNETS charge.
