Charging
for "Unanswered Calls"
As mentioned under "Charging of calls forwarded to a voice mailbox",
as long as the answering signal is generated, charging commences.
If the called party connects the telephone line to a customer terminal
equipment which is not compatible with that of the caller and then
the call drops shortly after connection, charges still apply, even
though the real connection time is short. The charging scheme varies
among operators but in general, airtime charges are generally calculated
on a per minute basis.
